Teleperformance Philippines Managing Director Travis Coates together with Staff Operations Director Angela Green, flew to Cebu to conduct a series of town hall meetings.

The assembly provided the leaders with an excellent opportunity to share the latest milestones of the company including the upcoming ESAT survey and plans for employee engagement activities for the year.

Likewise, the meeting also served as a venue for agents to share their insights and concerns during the Q&A segment.

Capping off the successful visit, Travis Coates dined with the Cebu leadership and Blue Diamond Awardees at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel where he expressed his sincere gratitude to the awardees for being good examples of the Teleperformance core values.

Teleperformance celebrates women everywhere

Teleperformance Philippines joined the people around the world in celebrating International Women’s Day.

Teleperformance employees across all sites expressed their strong support for women’s equality and empowerment by wearing purple, the official color of the movement that signifies dignity and justice.

In a  further demonstration of their support to the cause, employees shared snapshots of them holding up placards bearing hashtags #womensday #TPProud #TPWomenStrong to their social media accounts.

As an organization that strongly supports gender equality in the workplace, Teleperformance empowers the female workforce through equal career development opportunities and by increasing their participation in the business growth.

International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements both in political and social settings while calling for gender equality. The event is annually held every March 8.

EDSA Greenfield concludes Sports Fest 2016


Since its kickoff, the EDSA Greenfield Sports Fest has united site employees in fair play and camaraderie amidst competition. Teams from different client programs and support groups participated in the exhilarating two-month long sporting event.

All winning teams received trophies and certificates of participation during a spirited awarding ceremony last February 3 at the EDSA Greenfield Executive Lobby, with Site Director Eleonor Barredo heading the activity.

More than promoting health through physical activity, the Sports Fest is an ideal way for employees to imbibe the spirit of teamwork in the workplace.

February’s chock-full of love at Teleperformance


Cupid’s arrow surely found its way at Teleperformance with a lineup of activities that struck the hearts of hopeless romantics in February.

There was no shortage of sweet nothings and hugot lines when the Teleperformance Wall of Love went up in various sites. Employees and leaders alike took to the written word and colorful Post-Its as they placed their sweet Valentine sentiments on the wall for everyone to see.

Others made Facebook their very own Valentine card when they participated in the #LoveIsInTheAir Valentine Photo Contest. Running the whole of February, the promo invited participants to like the Teleperformance Facebook page and submit their special Valentine photos and stories for a chance to win fabulous travel and date packages.

Love and music are seemingly inseparable, as shown in the recently concluded Top Duo – Battle of the Call Center Duets finals held at Samsung Hall, SM Aura, Taguig City. Rockwell’s very own duo Angelo Duke Piquero and Rose Marie Dogelio took harmony to greater heights with their acoustic rendition of the South Border hit ballad, “Love of My Life.”

Homegrown crooners also enjoyed their place in the limelight when they participated in Acoustic Duets held in various Teleperformance sites. Keeping the tradition of harana alive, participants brought out the raw side of love as they performed acoustic renditions of popular hits to delighted crowds. Winners per site took home special prizes.

Teleperformance Mall of Asia goes all out in Sports Fest 2017


With the cool winds dwindling down, action on the covered court got off to a feverish start in the second staging of Teleperformance Mall of Asia’s Sports Fest last February 25 at the Sucat covered court.

Site Director Jonathan Natalicio opened the friendly sports competition, dubbed as “All Out for Greatness”, with a strong message for everyone about the importance of sportsmanship and fair play.

Afterwards, the crowd broke into a passionate cheer for their respective teams as the traditional parade of muses fired up everyone.

With adrenaline pumping, teams from our telco and gaming console accounts had the first go on the hard court. Telco team secured the first win in both basketball and volleyball against our gaming console team.

The MOA Sports Fest 2017 aspires to foster unity, camaraderie, and sportsmanship through a series of friendly basketball and volleyball competitions.

Supersite driven to excellence


It’s ironic that the toughest, yet most fulfilling experience of unity and cooperation for Supersite teams happened in a place called “bakasyunan” (vacation place).

That is what transpired last February 2-4 in Bakasyunan Resort, Iba, Zambales as thirty six (36) of Fairview Terraces’ decision-makers and support team members gathered for the site’s 2017 Strategic Planning session.

Aptly dubbed “Driven”, the session set the stage for an open dialogue among members of Human Resources, OPS, Training, Workforce Management, IT, and Facilities as they discussed pertinent issues that challenged them in the past. The teams also took part in a revealing exercise where they discussed what’s good and bad about them, and the help they need across all teams. Driven to be more open to each other moving forward, the participants came out of the session stronger, more united, and in tune with the goals for the year.

Teleperformance embarks on mangrove forest rehabilitation


Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced omnichannel customer experience management services, recently held a mangrove tree planting activity at the Vanishing Island in Samal, Davao City.

Through the Citizen of the Planet, the environmental corporate social responsibility arm of Teleperformance, sixty (60) volunteer employees from Teleperformance Davao successfully planted over 200 mangrove propagules in Vanishing Island, a protected marine reserve.

Teleperformance Davao Site Director Marte Nuyda and Human Resource Manager Josie Sacala led the team of volunteers composed of top-performing employees. The activity takes on a unique celebration of employee recognition through the promotion of a greener environment.

Mangroves present many intrinsic benefits to the ecosystem. They provide shelter and food for aquamarine animals and migratory shorebirds, serve as deterrent to storm surges, tides and currents, reduce water pollution and prevent soil erosion in coastal communities.

Teleperformance Philippines recognizes the importance of having a clean environment. The mangrove tree planting activity is part of the company’s environmental rehabilitation and protection initiatives across the Philippines, which also includes the cleaning and greening of the Marikina River and the La Mesa Eco Park and the implementation of energy-saving measures in all its 18 business sites in the country.

Sites Unite for Quarterly Blood Drive

Teleperformance, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, recently organized a blood donation drive in Antipolo, Fairview, Sucat, Silver City, Rockwell, Ayala, Cebu, and Mall of Asia, attracting close to 170 employees to donate to national blood reserves.

Through the initiatives of the Citizen of the World (COTW), the corporate social responsibility arm of Teleperformance, the bloodletting activity generated nearly 61,200 ml of blood which can potentially save over 400 lives.

Since its launch in 2012, the quarterly blood drive has amassed generous support from more than 2,000 employees, with more donors coming in year after year.

The activity is just one of the many CSR initiatives of Teleperformance that aims to promote civic and social involvement among its employees to better serve the community.

Blue Diamond Club Welcomes New Awardees for Q4 2016


Love for the profession, loyalty to company values. The love month is the perfect time for this “date with excellence” as twenty eight (28) outstanding Teleperformance employees were inducted to the Blue Diamond Club on February 15 at the Makati Diamond Residences.

The awardees were recognized for staying true and committed to Teleperformance’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Professionalism, Innovation, and Commitment.

Six awardees hailed from Teleperformance Ayala, while Rockwell and Fairview Terraces each produced three awardees. Teleperformance Bacolod, Baguio, EDSA Greenfield, Mall of Asia, and Silver City each produced two, with one awardee each from Alphaland Southgate, CDO, Cebu Insular, Cebu IT Park, and Fairview.

“Today we recognize your accomplishments for representing our values. You should be proud. Your family should be proud. I am very proud,” said Managing Director Travis Coates as he expressed his admiration for the awardees during his opening speech.

Since 2015, the Blue Diamond Club program has been the pinnacle of recognition for employees who exemplify the Teleperformance core values and inspire colleagues to mirror their positive behaviors.

Innovation awardee Antonio Mina dedicated his recognition to his colleagues. “One thing that this award highlights is the collaboration of the team. I won’t be able to achieve this without them,” he quoted.

“Being able to receive this award is a fulfillment. It will help me influence and inspire others,” said Commitment awardee Chariza Ramsey.

“It made me realize that all the work we do is not taken for granted. It encourages me to keep on improving,” shared Professionalism awardee Ana Aviso.

Senior Vice President for Human Capital Resource Management Jeffrey Johnson closed the ceremony with a very fitting story.

“One day I was at the mall. I saw someone wearing the Blue Diamond Club jacket. I approached her and said, ‘Hey, you’re a Blue Diamond Club awardee!’ She said, ‘Yeah, I’m very proud to wear this jacket and the fact that many colleagues of mine nominated me.’

Teleperformance helps fund Philippine Red Cross relief operations


Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced omnichannel customer experience management services, turned over P200,000 worth of cash donations to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in support of its relief operations for families and communities affected by Typhoon Nina, which hit the Bicol and Visayas regions late last year.

A company-wide relief drive was initiated through the Citizen of the World, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Teleperformance. The effort successfully raised P100,000 in cash donations from employees. In addition, for every applicant received on the first week of January 2017, Teleperformance donated 50 pesos to the PRC, boosting the total cash donations to P200,000. The drive also successfully collected P100,000 worth of in-kind donations from all 18 sites of Teleperformance across the country.

Teleperformance Senior Vice President for Human Capital Resource Management Jeffrey Johnson presented the check to Philippine Red Cross officers, Ria Rivera (OIC for PRC Rizal Chapter and Branch Administrator for PRC Mandaluyong City) and Hilarion Dimagiba (Auditor, Board of Directors for PRC Rizal Chapter) during the turnover ceremony that was recently held at Teleperformance EDSA Greenfield in Mandaluyong City. They were joined by Teleperformance officers, HCRM Support Manager Tracy Ganaban, Communications and Marketing Director Marilyn Ventenilla and COTW Ambassador Emil Macalinao.

“Since 2008, Teleperformance Philippines has been actively supporting Philippine Red Cross’ efforts in providing assistance to its beneficiaries as part of the company’s continuing initiatives to mobilize its resources to help those affected by calamities. We continue to engage our employees to be part of this noble cause to create positive impact to our communities,” Johnson says.

Teleperformance Philippines is actively involved in the conduct of various social responsibility efforts, which includes building houses for typhoon-struck communities, repairing school classrooms, planting trees, adopting a river, holding blood donation drives, organizing relief operations, caring for the sick, the children and the elderly, and promoting energy-conservation measures in all its sites.
