Teleperformance Davao recently celebrated a milestone as the site marked its first anniversary.
To celebrate the occasion, Teleperformance Davao team offered a Thanksgiving Mass, followed by a simple program that featured the site’s homegrown talents. The site leaders also raffled off gadgets, appliances and gift certificates to employees who joined the party.
Consistent with Teleperformance’s thrust to provide the best working environment for its employees, Teleperformance Davao has made significant investments to improve its services and facilities. Since 2013, the site has expanded its production and added new training rooms to accommodate its growing clients. It has likewise upgraded the recreational facilities for employees with the installation of cable TVs, gaming consoles, and internet lounge.
Travis Coates, Teleperformance Philippines Managing Director, congratulated Teleperformance Davao’s successful first year and thanked the committed men and women who have helped transform the site to its leadership position in the region today.

Teleperformance recently concluded a Parent and Child Talent Showdown held across all Teleperformance sites nationwide.
30 parent and child tandems showed-off their special talents in the performing arts and sports.Winners received cash prizes while the rest of the participants received exciting consolation prizes.
The parent and child performances were judged according to their overall performance, execution, audience response, stage appearance and costume, and originality. The winners were selected by panels of judges led by site directors, account directors and managers.
Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced customer experience management services, recently organized a blood donation drive across its various contact center sites in Metro Manila to help save the lives of hundreds of patients in the company’s health and welfare partner institutions.
Through the initiatives of the Citizen of the World (COTW), the corporate social responsibility arm of Teleperformance, and in partnership with the Philippine Blood Center (PBC), the blood donation drive was able to successfully engage around 300 Teleperformance volunteers and facilitate a total of 95,850 ml. of blood collection. This volume will benefit around 650 patients who are in need of clean and safe blood.
The COTW initiative complements the global blood donation campaign of the World Health Organization (WHO) whose focus this year is to increase awareness on the importance of timely access to safe blood as part of a comprehensive approach to prevent maternal deaths around the world.
Teleperformance Philippines continues to promote blood donation among its employees to increase its contribution to the PBC. In 2013, a total of 244,350 ml of blood was collected in all of the 11 sites of Teleperformance across Metro Manila, Antipolo, Cebu, Bacolod and Davao. This amount is equivalent to saving 1,629 lives. Globally, Teleperformance employees have donated a total of 1,604,000 ml of blood, which helped save over 10,000 lives.
Teleperformance was recently named the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Contact Center Outsourcing Service Provider of the Year for the third consecutive time at the 2014 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards held at the Alkaff Mansion in Singapore.
David Rizzo, Teleperformance Asia Pacific President, accepted the award on behalf of the company. The Frost & Sullivan Award was presented to Teleperformance for its ability to offer a multichannel customer experience across various markets and verticals. Teleperformance has emerged as one of the leading companies within the area of customer service management.

Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced customer experience management services, recently conducted a tree-planting activity entitled “Greenovation” at the La Mesa Ecopark, an ecological nature reserve in Quezon City.
During the Greenovation, Teleperformance employees toured around the La Mesa Ecopark where they learned about the preservation efforts being conducted inside the reserve. After getting on with basic gardening and nursery planting orientation, the Teleperformance volunteers planted hundreds of Kamagong seedlings at one of the nurseries inside the 27,000-square-meter watershed.
Greenovation is one of the many environmental efforts being organized by the Citizen of the Planet (COTP), the environmental corporate social responsibility arm of Teleperformance. This year, Teleperformance aims to conduct more tree-planting activities as part of COTP’s environmental protection initiatives. This is in line with the government’s National Greening Program (NGP) which aims to plant 164 million seedlings covering 3,000 square kilometers throughout the country by the end of 2014.
Around this time last year, Teleperformance likewise embarked on an environmental initiative of adopting a portion of the Marikina River, where Teleperformance employees volunteered their time and effort in conducting regular cleaning and greening activities on the riverbank.
Teleperformance recently sponsored Mapua Institute of Technology’s (MIT) annual Frosh Week organized by MIT’s Central Student Council to welcome the new batch of college freshmen students. The celebration was attended by more than 3,500 freshmen who participated in the campus orientation sessions and other fun activities organized by student organizations.
This sponsorship initiative is part of Teleperformance’s university relations program that aims to build strong partnerships with universities and the students, and establish Teleperformance as a viable career option upon graduation. During the event, Teleperformance staged a photo booth where students posed with friends to capture the excitement of their first day in college. A brand new Blackberry Curve was also awarded to first year Construction Engineering and Management student Trixia Mae Oso during the raffle draw held at the booth.
