Teleperformance Cebu celebrates Valentines with music and “hugot” lines


Move over cupid. Teleperformance Cebu took over Valentine’s Day with love songs, speed dating game, love letters, and trivia night at simultaneous events held at Cebu Insular and Cebu IT Park.

Dubbed as “Love Affairs,” employees were treated to romance and love-filled activities organized by the site HR-Engagement team in cooperation with Communications and Marketing.

Taking a trip down memory lane, the employees fell in love with an acoustic duet concert called “Valentine Playlist” where contestants serenaded them with timeless romantic music.

In Cebu IT Park, Mariel Mangubat and Michelle Jalon bagged the grand prize. Klein Sabejon and Jerald Taborada received the second prize, while Dayanara Joan Truz and Alden Adaro garnered the third prize. In the same event at Cebu Insular, Monalisa Lauzon and Crisson Bello won the grand prize, followed by Mary Rose Sarino and Jzanny Manguilimotan who came in second and Junrey Mabaga and Christine Obiñeta garnering third place.

Aside from the acoustic main event, the celebration was made even sweeter with exciting pocket events like trivia night, dating game, best “Hugot” lines, and love letter contest. A wall of love was also installed in strategic areas where everyone wrote sweet and special messages for their lovers, friends, admirers, and even for their bosses. The HR Team also prepared an all-original Valentine’s Day photo booth complete with props where employees took snapshots of their Valentine celebration at work.

The winners received cash prizes, plaques, and special Valentine item from site officers led by HR Senior Director Nagendra Bisht, together with directors Franklin Pasayloon and Glenn Valencia.

Bringing career opportunities to students


With Teleperformance’s aggressive business growth, the company requires a steady source of applicants to deliver the needs of its clients and sustain the requirements of its operations.  As such, Teleperformance actively participates in school-based career fairs to invite students to explore career opportunities at Teleperformance.

Teleperformance Bacolod joined two separate career fairs at Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMS) and Binalbagan Catholic College (BCC).

With over 400 graduating students in attendance, Recruitment Manager Paul Felton together with representatives from the Communication and Marketing department conducted a mini-orientation to introduce Teleperformance to the students and provide an overview of the opportunities that are readily available in the company.  Interested students also underwent an initial screening that allowed them to experience Teleperformance’s recruitment process and have a better understanding of the skills and competencies required in a BPO environment.

During the interview process, the students were asked why they want to join Teleperformance after graduation.  Aside from the competitive compensation and strategic location, Leonor Remo, an IT student from CHMS said, “Teleperformance has good training programs.”

With the students’ participation in Teleperformance’s campus recruitment, they have already taken their first step in pursuing a progressive career in Teleperformance.

Teleperformance hosted a special Recruit

Teleperformance hosted a special Recruitment Open House in celebration of the Chinese New Year.

Armed with drums, cymbals and gongs, traditional Chinese Lion Dance performers visited selected Teleperformance recruitment centers in Metro Manila, Cebu and Bacolod to welcome the Year of the Fire Monkey and usher in good luck and fortune to employees and applicants.

Consistent with the Chinese New Year tradition, Teleperformance also gave away Ang Paos and other prizes and freebies to lucky applicants during the mini-games held at the sites. More than 500 hundred walk-in applicants visited the recruitment centers during the weeklong celebration.

The Chinese New Year-inspired open house is part of Teleperformance’s special recruitment initiative to promote the career opportunities and fun working environment in the company.


Teleperformance Bacolod Welcomes BagoSphere Trainees


Teleperformance Bacolod recently hosted a site tour for BagoSphere’s call center trainees.

Forty one (41) trainees joined the discussion led by Teleperformance representatives, Paul Felton (Recruitment) and Levi Trio (Communications and Marketing) who provided an overview of the company’s contact center operation, basic hiring requirements and useful tips to successfully pass the recruitment process. After the discussion, the trainees participated in a guided tour within the facility that showcased Teleperformance Bacolod’s state-of-the-art work environment and fitness and recreation amenities.

BagoSphere is a social enterprise that offers affordable and intensive job preparation programs for high school and college graduates. Since its establishment in 2008, BagoSphere has become a long-standing partner of Teleperformance Bacolod for its sourcing and recruitment requirements.

After the site tour, the students were invited to explore the progressive career opportunities at Teleperformance.


Polytechnic University of the Philippines Radio Conference 2016


Teleperformance recently participated in the annual media education event of Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Radio Conference 2016.

With the theme, “Radioactive: Radio Content in the Digital Media Age,” the discussions focused on how to revolutionize radio’s reach, relevance and influence as a major mainstream medium despite the emergence of digital media.

Attended by over 1,000 Communication Arts students from different schools and universities in attendance, Teleperformance organized marketing activities that provided the students with a quick overview about the company and the career opportunities that are readily available for them after graduation. Lucky attendees also received special Teleperformance freebies.

Organized by PUP’s College of Communication, the event featured some of the most sought-after radio personalities and practitioners, including DZMM’s radio anchor Anthony Taberna, FM disc jockeys Papa Jack (90.7 Love Radio) and Rex Kantatero (iFM), together with Dan Andrew Cura of KBP, and Rhyan Malandog of Kabataan on Air.

Teleperformance’s participation in PUP’s annual radio conference is part of the company’s university relations program that aims to strengthen the Teleperformance brand among the students through its continued presence in school activities and projects.

PUP is a co-educational research state university, which PUP is broadly organized into fourteen colleges and two high school departments. It offers an extensive selection of more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as laboratory school and non-traditional studies/distance education programs. PUP is regarded as the fourth top university in terms of “job hireability” based on a survey conducted in 2015.


Blue Diamond Club Awardees

Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced customer experience management services, recently awarded 30 employees during the Blue Diamond Club Awarding Ceremony held at Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City.

Around 300 employees from the company’s 16 sites nationwide were nominated to the Blue Diamond Club, an exclusive recognition program for Teleperformance employees who best exemplify the company’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Professionalism, Innovation, and Commitment.

Through the stringent selection and evaluation process, thirty employees were chosen by the Blue Diamond Club Committee led by Teleperformance senior leadership team. The criteria for judging were based on each core value of the company as it aligns with the nominees’ character in the exercise of his profession.

The recognition rites were led by Teleperformance Philippines Managing Director Travis Coates together with the company’s department heads. The awardees were presented with a Blue Diamond Club plaque, cash prize, certificate of recognition, a commemorative pin and Blue Diamond Club jacket.

Commenting on the awardees’ performance, Travis Coates remarked, “I am truly proud of our Teleperformance employees who continue to serve as role models for the rest of the organization. May you continue to inspire our people to deliver their best and keep the passion for excellence alive at every customer touch point. Congratulations to the new members of the Blue Diamond Club!”


“Follow The Fire Monkey” Bloggers Tour

Teleperformance Philippines​ hosted an exclusive Chinese New Year-inspired site tour for bloggers at its Mall of Asia facility.

With the theme, “Follow the Fire Monkey,” the tour
provided the bloggers with a better appreciation of Teleperformance’s contribution to the growing BPO  industry in the Philippines through its employee-centric culture and outstanding customer experience management.

Teleperformance Mall of Asia Site Director Neo Samson together with Communication and Marketing Regional Director Marilyn Ventenilla led the tour that showcased the company’s primary resource – the employees – who demonstrated their skills in handling customers as the bloggers observed the activities inside the operations floor. The bloggers were also guided to the site’s state-of-the-art amenities and employee services that provide comfort and convenience at work.

Aside from their interaction with Teleperformance leaders and tour of the facility, the bloggers were also treated to a traditional Chinese Lion Dance to usher in the good fortune in the Year of the Fire Monkey.

The bloggers tour is part of Teleperformance’s program to further strengthen its presence in online and new media to promote the exciting career opportunities in Teleperformance.
