YEP.pngRock star Bamboo entertained the crowd at the Teleperformance Magdiwang Year-end Party held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City

Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced omnichannel customer experience management services, recently staged its biggest thanksgiving celebration yet at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Dubbed as “Magdiwang,” the year-end party celebrates the triumphs and accomplishments of Teleperformance and its employees in 2016, which also marks the company’s 20th anniversary in the Philippines.

Energetic song and dance performances engulfed the four halls of the SMX Convention Center. Over 12,000 Manila-based Teleperformance employees trooped to the party arena that night.

Popular comedians Allan K. and Giselle Sanchez brought the house down with their witty jive and banter. Meanwhile, the ultimate crowd drawer acts came from rock maestro Bamboo, crossover rock quartet Up Dharma Down, and EDM idol DJ Tom Taus.

The crowd’s excitement was held in bigger suspense as the winners’ names were drawn for the two million pesos worth of raffle giveaways. Huge cash prizes, hotel staycation and travel packages, motorcycle, smart phones, Go Pro cameras, home entertainment packages, and a host of other holiday treats were awarded to employees.

Teleperformance Philippines managing director Travis Coates led the celebration of the Magdiwang Year-end Party. “I’m thrilled to see the thousands of Teleperformance employees who have gathered here tonight. This event is really just about thanking and celebrating our successes in 2016. All this was made possible by your passion and dedication,” Coates said.

The “Magdiwang” celebration likewise happens in other Teleperformance sites across the country – in Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro and Baguio. This event caps off the 20th Anniversary salvo of the company in the Philippines. The milestone campaign was launched earlier this year through various marketing experience channels. With the tagline, “20 years of Filipino Pride,” Teleperformance Philippines gives honor to its people and their inspiring stories of growth with the company.

Teleperformance shines red for World AIDS Day

hiv_pix_2016

December 1 proved to be a lot more than just a red-letter day when Teleperformance Philippines joined the global community in commemorating World AIDS Day.

Various sites across the country teemed with passionate red as Teleperformance employees wore red outfits and shared their snapshots and messages of hope in social media sites using the hashtags #WorldAidsDay2016 and #TPProud.  Many even went the extra mile by putting up decorations to show their unwavering support for the global cause.

Teleperformance has long been a staunch advocate of HIV and AIDS awareness with the company’s continuing support for Project Red Ribbon.  In cooperation with the Department of Health (DOH) and Research Institute for Tropical Medicine-AIDS Research Group (RITM-ARG), Project Red Ribbon equips doctors and nurses with testing kits and training to conduct free HIV screening in company clinics. Concerned employees can have themselves screened in confidence and without fear of discrimination.

Globally, there are an estimated 34 million people who are diagnosed with HIV. It remains to be one of the most critical and life-altering pandemics in history. The World AIDS Day is an opportunity to show support for the victims and break the social stigma that comes with the condition.
